For the second year running, we made a strong showing at Our Ocean Conference, the international conference on ocean protection, which this year took place in Korea.
The Foundation was represented by Program Manager, Ioanna Alexiadou, who participated in the Digital Ocean Business Summit, presenting our work and initiatives. In her speech, she highlighted the environmental programs implemented by the Foundation, the strategic partnerships with universities, and how the data collected daily on coastal and land pollution in Greece is used through our programs.
Thanks to this systematic work, we have created the most comprehensive database on pollution in the Mediterranean to date, providing valuable tools to researchers, agencies, and the scientific community. Our efforts continue vigorously, with the aim of enhancing knowledge and supporting policies that will ensure a cleaner marine and coastal environment.
