Amalia has over 10 years of experience in the design, management, and oversight of environmental programmes, with a particular focus on marine conservation. She has worked with philanthropic foundations, leading the strategic management of projects and funding portfolios, as well as developing partnerships with non-governmental organisations, public institutions, and scientific organisations. Her experience combines strategic planning with the effective delivery of measurable environmental and social impact.
She holds a Master’s degree in Coastal and Marine Environmental Management from Duke University in the United States. Her academic background also includes studies at other leading academic and research institutions, including the Sea Education Association (Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution), and Sorbonne Université (Pierre et Marie Curie).
