ATHANASIOS C. LASKARIDIS CHARITABLE FOUNDATION

The Athanasios C. Laskaridis Charitable Foundation, Lidl Hellas and Crowdpolicy won an important distinction at the Hellenic Responsible Business Awards 2021, as they received the gold award “Responsible Businesses & SDGs: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure” for implementing the first open innovation "Sup Free Hackathon”, part of the national program “Greece Free of Single-Use Plastics”, under the auspices of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy. The awards ceremony was held on Thursday July 1st, 2021, at a prestigious event organized by the Ministry of Development and Investment and SEV.

The Hellenic Responsible Business Awards 2021 were held for the sixth consecutive year, rewarding companies that promote the values of Responsible Entrepreneurship and invest in Sustainable Development.

The award was received by Dr. Angeliki Kosmopoulou, Executive Director of the Athanasios C. Laskaridis Charitable Foundation and Ms. Vasiliki Adamidou, Head of Corporate Communications and Responsibility at Lidl Hellas. Upon receiving the award, Dr. Angeliki Kosmopoulou stated: “As a Foundation we honor collaborations, especially those that can be tested and successfully implemented in the market. The “Sup Free Hackathon” is an initiative that positively affects us all, especially the environment!”.
